Welcome to Tasmanian & Antarctic One Health

We are a collaborative group dedicated to understanding the nexus of environmental, animal, and human health across Tasmania and Antarctica.We leverage Tasmania’s unique island attributes and our position as a gateway to the vast, rapidly changing Southern Ocean and Antarctica to address global One Health challenges. Spanning disciplines from pathogen evolution and public health to conservation, our team includes academics, government agencies, and nongovernmental professionals. We are building an innovative research and surveillance network, and we are committed to training the next generation of One Health leaders through our Honours, Master of Public Health, and PhD programs.
